It’s that exciting time again! No, I’m not talking about Thanksgiving, when families get together to express gratitude for each other, and no I’m not talking about Christmas when the holiday joy can warm up hearts (even for those that are normally unmoved). It’s actually the time when I can open up my luggage and lay out all the loot!
I like to arrange all my purchases side by side expanding over a space so I can ponder each piece and recall the memories associated with the trip (hey, some people collect snow globes, I’d just rather bring back wearable merchandise!).
In this trip I’ve strategically picked up:
• wool dresses for the winter – a must if you want to remain lady-like even in the cold
• high-waist bottoms - something I’ve been obsessed with for a while
• outerwear pieces – because they are smart investments that you can always wear over your old clothes and make them look new again
• a few fun and loud pieces (whether in print, color, or shape) - to add interesting to my ever expanding closet!
Three outwears, six dresses, two pairs of shorts, one pair of trouser, one skirt, two tops, and four pairs of shoes later, I declare this trip a success!
