Date Night Separates

Dear Diary,
Tonight is not just another night. It’s a SUSHI date night! Oh sushi, I have been waiting for this moment for too long and tonight I want to look my best for you!

So as I was getting dressed for my beloved tuna nigiri, I noticed I was automatically drawn towards the dress section of my closet. “Do date nights and dresses come hand-in-hand?“ Well, it’s definitely the easy way out, but it would be just too predictable. Convinced there’s an alternative solution to this predicament, I physically pulled myself away. Luckily from my recent shopping trip I returned with a great dark mini skirt with draping details. Paired with a contrasting silk top with a sheen and chucky necklace for some pizzazz around the neck, I found a way to look worthy of some yellowtail.

Oh, that skirt was a great piece!! I love the draping, it looks elegant and kind of funky.
Hope you enjoyed sushi night!! I haven't had any in awhile and could so go for a california roll right now. :)

Hi Anonymous - Isn't the skirt amazing? I couldn't resist but get two in different colors! The skirt is from Silence & Noise purchased from a local boutique, but Urban Outfitter carries this brand too!
