Finding Your Way

Dear Diary,
Every once in a while, when we have been left alone for a long time, we deviate from our tracks. We’ll take small moments get our ourselves together by stretching during a long workday or going for a run after work to clear our minds. But every so often, we enlist some help for when we lose our way, so we consult our religious leaders such as Dalai Lama to achieve Zen enlightenment or we enroll in Weight Watchers to get our bodies back in shape. Whatever it might be, taking a moment to get back on track is the key to going further in your life!

I am no exception. After being busy for so long I lose sense of who I am. So this weekend, I sought some guidance from my own spiritual guru – Olivia Palermo. I can always count on her to remind me that essential pieces found in any wardrobe can look OH-SO-CHIC!

Coat: H&M
Shoes: Charles David

Who do you consult when you lose your fashionable way?

I usually consult my Lucky book for some inspiration!!!

I love how you re-created her look!!! And I love that dress too, is it textured or is that just how the lines are sewn?

Hi fshnonmymind - the entire dress is this shaggy long wool texture in black and white. And I love everything with textures!

I know this is a fashion blog...but did you just compare being in a fashion rut to losing your faith ?! Olivia Palermo is not the Dalai Lama.
