Pencil Me In

Dear Diary,
Deep in my closet, hanging on a hanger, hidden behind layers and layers of skirts, is a long gray wool pencil skirt I purchased probably 10 years ago on a shopping trip with my mom (what can I say? I had mature taste back then!). I always thought the skirt had great potential, yet I never felt comfortable enough to pull it off.

But lately, I’ve seen these stretchy long pencil skirts in several trend reports, mostly military inspired and worn with ankle boots. Can you imagine how thrilled I was to find the latest trend in my own wardrobe? And this time around, I finally felt like I’ve grown up enough to pull it off with confidence. I guess I’m all grown up, Mom!

Awesome looking pencil skirt and I bet it is comfy too! I love how you went with all grays in this outfit too. It gives a nice modern edge to the whole outfit.

Isn't it great when this happens! Feels like heaven, that skirt in deed was a great purchase back then and now! ... Loved the military look, without being too much, pink clutch was the perfect girly touch to contrast the rest of grey hues!

Have a lovely monday! xo

fshnonmymind- this skirt is indeed very comfy but not all that forgiving with lumps and bumps!

CessOviedo - you've read my mind! I did felt like I need something girly and fun with this all gray look!
